I am interested in volunteering in Don Oliveira's 7th grade Social Studies class currently working on Washington State History. Mr. Oliveira has agreed that I can do this. Interested in helping out one day per week in 1st period.

I am an attorney and worked for Port Townsend, Grant County, and Yakima County in Washington State as a land use planner for 12 years. I am currently running for public office for the position of Commissioner of the Jefferson Public Utility District.

As a land use planner, my job was to help protect the ecology and natural resources of Port Townsend and the two counties I worked for in eastern Washington through the development of codes and plans that regulate land use development. I began my career with the Washington Growth Management Act was being implemented (early 1990s).

As part of my job, I drive an electric vehicle, a Tesla powered Toyota RAV4 with a range of 120 - 130 miles.
