I have studied and/or worked in and for the performing arts for over 30 years. Vocal and Theater work being my main focus. I am a professional singer/songwriter who has collaborated on the production of 6 albums and toured across the U.S. 3 times with a variety of musical acts. My theater experience has been semi-professional, and included supporting and numerous leading roles, as well as three years as a troupe member of Port Townsend's Poetic Justice Theater Ensemble.

My first experience as a sole proprietor of a business was at the age of 21. I established a massage therapy practice in Northampton MA that was successful over the 9 years I lived there. I opened a shared practice in Port Townsend in 2003 that expanded it's offerings into workshops addressing healthy lifestyle practices. I currently operate a sole proprietorship that combines healing arts and performing arts training. I travel internationally to teach vocal and expressive arts workshops, and work both in person and online with individuals seeking personal and professional empowerment through vocal coaching and the healing arts.

I have taught adults and children in group ranging from 4 to 100 in both the healing arts and voice. I was an instructor of at the Port Townsend School of Massage for 3 years. One of my strengths and creative joys is to create curriculum for classes. I have generated over two dozen various programs, classes, and curriculum for individual study and group training.

I have been on a personal journey spiritually most of my life. I am a meditation and qi gong practitioner, and work with Unity and Unitarian Churches in Port Townsend as a musical minister and guest. My work and life is centered in my spirituality, and I am happy to offer stories from my experiences ranging from living in an ashram, an evolving spiritual life, and bringing spirituality into work respectfully.

As I have described above, I have 22 years as a licensed professional Massage Therapist. There seems no category for organizational and community leadership, so I will use this space to describe another form of work I have experience in. I consider mediation and facilitation a form of "healing art" as it applies to bringing individuals together to work successfully. I have trained and worked as a mediator, NVC practitioner, Dynamic Facilitator, systems theorist, and diversity ally and advocate, and I am currently training and under mentorship at The Ojai Foundation to become a trainer in the practice of Council. I have a passion for support interpersonal relations and believe skills related to empathy, listening, and forms that support groups working well together are essential to have in the workforce.
