Students need exposure to working adults. Young people want to learn specific skills. I very much wish to contribute. Mentoring, tutoring, teaching those skills I know, use of tools, how to solve problems.

I have a degree in chemistry and maintain my interest and reading in same. Can build simple electronic circuits. Can explain many tech and some engineering subjects to high school students. Can teach use of a slide rule, a marine sextant, a Geiger counter, volt-amp-ohm-meter, advanced spreadsheet skills, sailing, etc. Can teach people how to sew their own backpack, load it with gear, food and water, keeping total weight under 30 pounds, and then spend an enjoyable week in the woods.
